Adiós Ghost
Adiós Ghost
Adiós Ghost is a band formed by songwriter Ben Sigerson. Returning to the U.S. from Germany, where he had worked as a music editor in radio, Sigerson sought to unite the many impressions left by this experience into something cohesive. Joined by Simon Davenport and Jimmy Stull--old friends from time spent in Madison, WI--and Alex Loew, a pal from growing up in DC, the four-piece began playing shows around Brooklyn in 2012.

Adiós Ghost draws from a broad sonic palette, focusing psychedelia, early house, r&b and West African music through a dark and moody rock lens. The band’s debut, self-titled EP came out in winter 2013 and was met with praise, being described in the press as "wild and worldly", "full bodied, and impassioned" and "intensely colourful." Moving forward, Adiós Ghost expanded upon their founding influences, and drummer Alex Loew tacked on the role of producer-engineer. The resulting "Counting Paces" single was released in the winter of 2014. Their third release, The Endless Return EP, came out in June 2016.
Ruby Rae
Ruby Rae
Ruby Rae write and perform music that defies easy categorization: a catalogue of influences would include Wanda Jackson, Mazzy Star, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Both vibrant and dark, simultaneously catchy and psychological, the sound is cinematic and complex, drawing on diverse sources that include folklore, mythology, horror films, and autobiography. The albums are conceptual and thematic, their latest album "The Uncanny" (2016) was inspired during residency at the Akumal International Art Residency in Mexico.
