SassyBlack

SassyBlack is an unexplored galaxy made of fist-pump, funk, and beat-fertility. Her organic blend of experimental hip-hop, unpredictable syncopation and neon-womanism, Silver and Gold, is geeked-out and polished in the absolute best abnormal way. The fanny-pack-hologram has been billed the "hardest working" multi-layered performer on the West Coast and with praise from Bitch Magazine, The Fader, Okayplayer, Pitchfork and Afropunk, it's easy to see SassyBlack is weaving her vocals and celestial style in a way that is unapologetic and funk worthy. After debuting her solo work in Berlin, Barcelona, London and the states, she's releasing Wakanda Funk Lounge (Way It Goes, Wakanda Bounce) summer of 2018 and fans and neo-soul-funk specialist all agree there is deeper satisfaction in SassyBlacks evolution.

Whoisskitzo

Tranell Rock, also known as "Whoisskitzo" is a 90's baby with an old soul who was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. From an early age Whoisskitzo used art, poetry and music to express her individuality and cope with the pressures of growing up in an urban community. Her first love was music itself but had a soft spot for the genre of hip hop which she wanted to pursue. At the tender age of nine she started performing in front of her classmates and never looked back since. She had a lot to rap about and felt like being an artist and sharing her story and where she came from would be the only voice she would ever have. Finally deciding to live in her purpose, some topics of choice would include love, mental illness, abuse and building self confidence. Influenced by some of the greats: Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, J. Cole and ASAP Rocky to name a few. Her flow is versatile, style is unique and you can't just put her in one category. Her goal is to reach and help others by sharing her life experiences through her realness and “tell all” rhymes. She represents Brooklyn to the core with her raw, gritty and unapologetic lyrics . Whoisskitzo landed on the top 100 emerging artist platform for her single "I Know". She has also been featured on Buzzfeed, The Culture Trip, Huffington Post Black Voices, and ThisIs50. Her second EP “Gauche The EP” which means “socially awkward” is out now and available on all of her social media accounts. Follow her on all accounts @whoisskitzo.
